Message | I was born in Catherine Street Killyleagh in 1926 and lived next to Doctor Sprole. The family left to live in Belfast in 1938 and I now live in Solihull. I have very fond memories of Killyleagh and although I am now 82 years old I still yearn to return and remember my boyhood. I expect the town has changed somewhat over the years. I remember the spinning mill where my mother once worked and I have fond memories of Strangford lough and of the castle and the streets around the town, I hope it remains a place always worth a visit.
