MessageThey lead us to a better Life, by teaching us how to defead & guard ourself from wrong, So we honor those by never betraying what is right, consistent & just in all what we do. We will conceive in ways in a generous sacrifice of time by mastering our will to bring it all, to come true... Rest in Peace The Coach Shawn Tompkins. here is some words by Siji: “I am learning to understand rather than immediately judge or to be judged. I cannot blindly follow the crowd & accept their approach. I will not allow myself to indulge in the usual manipulating game of role creation. Fortunately for me, my self-knowledge has transcended that & I have come to understand that life is best to be lived & not to be conceptualized. I am happy because I am growing daily & I am honestly not knowing where the limit lies. To be certain, every day there can be a revelation or a new discovery. I treasure the memory of the past misfortunes. It has added more to my bank of fortitude.” - Bruce Lee..
Never had the pleasure to meet him, but never the less Shawn was an amazing coach & such a positive influence in the lives of so many in & out of the MMA world. Our sincere condolences to the Tompkins family, our prays to his family & may God Bless his soul.

MessageShawn Tompkins was an amazing, selfless man, whose legacy will live on for ever. I have seen first hand the sacrifices he made to make some of his fighters better people (Junie Browning, Vitor). His genuine, caring and compassionate nature is simply amazing. I have never met anyone who cared for others as much as Coach did. RIP <3

P.S. Those of you who are grieving this tragic loss, please take solace in knowing how blessed you were to have met a man like Shawn!

MessageI never had the opportunity to meet Shawn Tompkins. But he touched many of the lives that I am surrounded with. My husband explained Shawn as a great guy who made it a point to just be a nice and caring person.
My husband is a HUGE MMA fan and he has said that the MMA world would not be what it is today had Shawn not been a big part of it!
Shawn touched the lives of people even though he didn't know them, and his memories will live on in the MMA world, and in all of us!
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his close friends and family. And especially to Emilie, Sam, Mark and Chris.
He may be gone but he will forever be remembered!
xoxo

MessageI met Shawn a while back when I fell in love with one of his fighters. My boyfriend at the time spoke of "Coach" as a father figure, mentor, best friend, and role model. After spending some time with the Team Tompkins family it was obvious as to why my boyfriend held this man on such a high pedastool. He was truly a leader who loved and cared about his fighters like they were his sons. He put them first and gave them a dream that if they worked hard enough they could become something big. Shawn was an amazing friend to many. But my favorite thing about Shawn was his love for his beautiful wife Emilie and their dogs Patsy and Cowboy. Emilie has become one of my best friends and we would often joke about how much of a softy Shawn is once you get through the tough guy shell. An extremist in everything he did may it be cornering some of the toughest guys you know to treating one of your best friends like a princess. I assure you he is the only man I know that will talk to his bulldog Patsy like a baby infront of his fighters with no shame. I always knew he had a positive influence on many but attending his funeral was touching and left me amazed with how many people he actually had touched. At 37 he lived such a full life of great experiences with amazing people. He lived life the right way for each day. A life too short for sure but definitely more full than most twice his age. I look forward to seeing his legacy live on within his team and his family. We will miss you. xoxox
