| Message | Hi, I am just a fan, wanting to share my condolences with the family and friends and everyone that knew Shawn, I was close to him only in miles when I lived in Toronto. I always heard great things about him, and always supported the team no matter where I was. I lost my husband Last Christmas holidays, so I too know the loss of someone who had so much to give and be, and yet, were taken too soon. I believe that God takes those he needs. Rest In Peace, Shawn "Coach" Tompkins. Now he can coach from the hearts of all of those he touched, and still touches. <3 T.M.P |

| Message | Rest in Peace knowing you made the most of the life you had! Back in highschool you had the same leadership quality and knew would be a great leader and well respected! I will remember Aug 14 every year because I lost my sister that day too. (autopsy, heart?) In my thoughts Emilie so sorry for your loss. Being only few months younger then Shawn I wish I had those leadership qualities and cant imagine my life being taken. So young too soon Shawn! All of the training you accomplished and could of accomplished. Take care Emilie, Rest now, Shawn. |

| Message | Didn't know Shawn very long. Met him in the Spring of 2011 in London,ON. Had the priviledge of taking him and a couple guys from ATC out for lunch. Felt his passion and energy right away. Took the time to talk and show genuine interest in me. Saw him a couple weeks later at the Fan Expo in Toronto. You knew he valued your presence by his big smile. a few weeks later i received a text from Shawn while i was in Vancouver. I was there on business but to also watch our local UFC star, Sam Stout get his big W. Shawn heard from someone (likely Hominick)that I was in town. He invited me to a party/fundraiser and wanted to make sure I was there. He is by far the one person in recent years who has reached out selflessly. We scheduled a lunch date in London for Monday August 15th. I was looking forward to getting to know Shawn. If he touched me this deep in such a short time, i can only imagine the deep ache in his family and close friends hearts. Shawn even agreed to be one of my MMA industry references on my resume to the UFC Canada office. He actually asked me if i wanted a letter of reference from him. He gave more than he took. He inspired and encouraged. He smiled and welcomed me into his world. So glad I at least had a few moments, getting to know the 'coach'. |

| Message | Shawn was in my apinion the best MMA Coach around. This is not just because he was an excelent Striking Coach but the way he enteracted with all his fighters AKA Family. He treated them with love and respect. He inspired his fighter so well. RIP Coach Tompkins Thanks |

| Message | My wife Paula and I trained with Shawn in Boston last year at the UFC Expo in 2010. It was one of the most positive experiences that we've shared together. Shaun was kind, energetic, enthusiastic, positive, & all of the above. He was the perfect "Coach." Shawn will be missed. We wish the family the best and we hope to carry on what we've learned from Shawn and share it with the rest of the world. Love, Paula & Stephen |
