MessageI was an AK@ and a member of the pre-commissioning team that brought the Randolph out of moth balls in 1953. I was abord when we went through hurricane Carrol. That was scaey. I remember when someone caught a nine foot shark and pulled it up on the fantale. They tied a line around it and threw it back into the water. It did not take long for a great white to find it and bite it into two pieces. I was in a gun tub on the port side aft when an AJ went off the flight deck into the ocean. It nearly hit me on the head. I think there were two fatilities. Lots of other fun memories. I looked through all the notices and found no one that I recognized. I did go to the reunion in Nashville a few years ago. I knew no one when I got there but made several friends while enjoying all they offered. Highly recommend it.

MessageTo whom it does concern.

Thi8s wonderful ship the second time around as it served in US Revolution also. a.d. 1776 Sailing Frigate .

My dad, Stephen Potter De Mallie, a decorated Officer in the US Navy served aboard her with extreme pride! He even had lunch on the Good Will Tour with our kin , Ian Campbell, Duke of Argyll, at his residence Inverary Castle, Argylshire and aboard the USS Randolph too.
GOD Bless all, and who ever sailed her !

MessageMost shoes can effortlessly accommodate the inclusion of shoe lifts but in the event you discover that your usual brand is too narrow then you may wish to shop one size bigger
