MessageTurned 89 in September and served on the USS Randolph Air Group 12 in WWII. I was delighted to read the history of my ship as I thought it had puposely been sunk. Doubt there are too many left from my time but would love to connect.

Thank You,
LA Allen

MessageHi
My father in law William "Bill" Keena was on the Randolph when it was hit by the plane. He was a radio man and was blown into the water. My husband Timothy J. Keena (his son) has written a book about his father and all that he went through. If anyone is interested, it is available on Amazon. Title: My Father's Story 'Sea Of Flames'. Please we just lost bill this past December and would love to share any info.
