We have not seen Zac since he was just a little boy, what a beautiful young man he grew into being. Watching the slide show reminded me of how cute and loving he was. He hadn't changed, just grew up. Zac always had such a contagious smile and I can still hear his cheery laugh! In school he always challenged us to dig a little deeper and I absolutely loved that about him! He will be missed! | Message | My Grandson, Zac, was mischievous, messy, hardworking, energetic, and upbeat in dire circumstances. I remember visiting him during the Christmas program at his elementary school. He supplied a humorous touch, much to the dismay of his teacher. I also visited him at one of his Millennium High School swim meets when he was captain of the swim team and broke the school record for the breast stroke. Zac had such a look of triumph at his high school graduation that his picture striding across the stage appeared in the local newspaper. Zac spent almost 2 years living with me when he was in his early twenties. He loved to lift weights and build up his body. Zac worked hard in numerous jobs in restaurants, including assistant chef. He had little patience for those who didn't do their share of the work. Zac and I had few disagreements and we never exchanged angry words. I wrote to him, shared many meals with him, talked with him, and prayed with him, a few times on our knees. When Zac's time with me was over, I felt the loss. Zac received Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He did not always live a Christian life, but he is rejoicing now in heaven, by the same grace we all receive--through the cross of Christ. |
