Message | I accidentally ran across your website while researching my Dundas ancestry. Your site is keenly interesting to me because I have been unable to trace back my Dundas line any further than John D. Dundas, my great-grandfather. John was an orphan, after much research I found John, aged two, in a US census, in an orphanage in New York. Until now I have been unaware of the existence of the Dundas Castle in New York. However, I had the wonderful opportunity to explore the old 14th century original Dundas Castle near Edinburgh. I will be keeping a close eye on your website in hopes of discovering clues as to the story behind my great grandfather, John D. Dundas, and how he was orphaned. If you happen to run across John in your research please forward it to my personal email. I have been seeking information for more than 10 years and would greatly appreciate any crumbs you can send my way. Kind regards, Jacqueline Enman [email protected] |

Message | Is there anyway someone can contact me via email with information on how to contact the caretakers and ask for permission to look around? I live in Sullivan County and would love to make a day trip out of this. Adrianne V Kirk [email protected] |

Message | Where is this located in Roscoe? Nice job on the history. Is it haunted? Probably...has so much rich history, I am sure of it. |
