MessageMy father was served from 52' to 56' and was a journalist on board. His name is James Smith and passed away July 08 of lung cancer. I have his year book from 53' 54' CVA-15 USS Randolph. I could scan the book.

Does anyone remember him?

Messagemy dad was a naval officer on the USS Randolph. He was also a waist gunner for two campaigns, the European and African. This is interesting to me because he never spoke of what he saw. He would just point out real footage from fictional when it came on television.

MessageServed aboard the Randolph from Jan 1967 to Oct of 1968 as an ETN3 then ETN2. During my last year I ran the shipboard TV station and radio studio for the Med Cruise and then to Rio. It was an honor to serve on a great ship, under a good captain and a amazing unconventional Admiral (Outlaw) and an amazing crew from the deck hands,BT's, EM's, cooks, Air crews and Marines. Would enjoy hearing from any one on board during that time.([email protected])

I was in OI division during the same time. 1960-1963. I am really bad with names but your name seems fimiliar. I have been communicating with Donny Hilliard. I don't know if you remember him.
Contact me if you like and we will catch up. Also any other old folks that were aboard during that time let me know.

MessageHello, I served in O-I Div. 65-67. Just wondered if any of my old ship mates were out there? Had great time on North Atlantic cruise in 66.
