Message | my dad was a naval officer on the USS Randolph. He was also a waist gunner for two campaigns, the European and African. This is interesting to me because he never spoke of what he saw. He would just point out real footage from fictional when it came on television. |

Message | Served aboard the Randolph from Jan 1967 to Oct of 1968 as an ETN3 then ETN2. During my last year I ran the shipboard TV station and radio studio for the Med Cruise and then to Rio. It was an honor to serve on a great ship, under a good captain and a amazing unconventional Admiral (Outlaw) and an amazing crew from the deck hands,BT's, EM's, cooks, Air crews and Marines. Would enjoy hearing from any one on board during that time.([email protected]) |
