MessageI have also posted this on the mspublicxpnetworking forum

just re-installed Win XP SP2 onto my #3 computer.Which had worked fine on
my small network/workgroup
pc is an AMD 64 3200+ and net drivers are all ok in Device Manager

I cannot get it to connect to my existing nework of 2 other Win XP
computers. They are all on a hub and #1 and #2 talk to each other and to the
internet. #3 will do neither
I read the good stuff on PChucks wewbsite but my first hurdle is that I
can't get ipconfig to come up under the cmd command.
I assume that something was missed during the Windows install but I can't
seem to find a method of adding anything.
I have TCP/IP and the other settings as described with netBIOS over TCPip
enabled but still do not get the ipconfig as the error message says
something such as "wrong path cannot find "
I could not get the Browser utility to do anything.

Any help would be appreciated

MessageHad a problem with windows networking for about a year. Couldn't find any help online or from "experts" I knew. Logged onto here and sorted the problem (nearly) within 5 minutes.

MessageI am laughing all over my face and totally blown away by your walk and the trash! Are there people living in the park?

Laffin' over that challenge there (and the generous link)!! Today I go to my studio but I better have another post to make when I get home me thinks!

I think it is wonderful that you walked to the park! Good on you. I tell you what you have done is inspiring me no end.

I walk miles sometimes - except I am flat footed ('flat footed skank' how's that!!? *laffs*)and although when I was a young skanky thing I could dance all night in six inch stilettos these days if my inserts wear down a bit I'm in trouble. (haha)

I don't know if my city is cleaner but your park sure is a mess! (although less so now). The gauze was nasty - it looked like toilet paper to me at first.

I dig the way you can link back from your page to an image at the top of your page.

Anyway - wow - I am floored! (getting up quick though lest someone take advantage!)

Thanks for the smile. I am going to walk from the bus to my studio today - at the moment I am collecting a lot of plastic bottle top lids - might do a photo shoot when I get home. Have a good one!

MessageI am very excited by your blog - the whole concept thrills me no end! (Told ya I was excited!) I really dig that amazing techno tool whereby I can check out the place where you are walking at. I might have a play with that one at Skanksville some time. Walking is cool and has an amazing history I am looking forward so much to seeing the trash you find. I wonder if you will find yourself drawn to picking up certain types of objects? It's winter here now but today there is a warm smell in the sunny sky and I am itching to get done with the indoor chores so I can walk under it! smilie

MessageHi Chuck. I appreciate most of what you do with The Real Blogger Status. I was going to leave a comment there today, but the Word Verification box is a red x as a result of the problems Blogger is having, so I can't comment there. Your post today (06/19/06) is a little more honest and less of making appologies for Blogger than you've done in the past two weeks. I thought your STFU statements last week were pretty absurd. Blogger needs to do a full and open post mortem once this issue is resolved. Keep up the good work, but keep everyone honest, including Blogger. Thanks.

MessageThank you for helping so many people that use Blogger for their blogs! Your service is invaluable. As a consumate volunteer I know what it means to pour so much effort into something and then get people yelling because the 'free' service is not to their liking!

You do a GOOD job! smilie
