| Message | I want to thank your for knowledge and for giving your time to help others solve their computer problems.I had the networking error, "Not enough server space to process this command" and I changed the registry on the problem computer, but nothing made it clear to change the computer that you were trying to access. I saw your replies to Gene from earlier this month on a Google group and that made it perfectly clear. I changed the other computer's registry from 11 to 50 and now I am happily working on my home network. I can't tell you how glad it made me to actually fix a computer problem. Normally a problem like this would require a call to my Father-In-Law, who being 3 hours away, would try to get to our house sometime and work on the problem to make it go away. I have never been very skilled at working on computers, just never quite had the right temperment or mental capacity I guess. Close to 30 years I have struggled with computers and trying to fix them. I started with an Apple II plus way back when and from there could never figure out DOS. Fortunatly getting married brought nice PCs built by the Father-In-Law and my need to know computers was less critical. This fix was one of very few that I have figured out and made work so I had to say Thank you. |

| Message | After a bad attack by interent virus, I reformated my computer and rebooted in the operating system and regular softwares. I then put in a licensed virus software, "BitDefender-Internet Security v10 OEM". I tried to blog after that and had this problem of connecting to blogger.com. Once in a while, it allowed publishing to take place. At other times, it just says "done" and nothing gets published! The worst thing, it would not allow me to paste my drafts from Microsoft Word which I usually do and then edit on the blog. I also could not load pictures onto my blog entries. Sometimes it allows; at other times it failed me As I am an ignoramus on computer trouble-shooting, please help me on a step-by-step process so that I can enjoy the joys of blogging again. Thank you. Anyway, I think blogger should give more details about configuring the settings for DNS, It is more complex (at least for me and for many other people I could see trough the Web) than it could be, I believe that it´s necessary to improve these and avoid so many troubles to the bloggers.
