| Message | Chuck, so glad I found you through Microsoft Community.  I am interested in networking wired or wireless, two computers and one printer. This is the important point that led me here: I have a PC, Dell Dimension running Windows XP professional; I also have a Laptop, Compaq Presario, running Windows 95 (embed) OS. The printer is Dell. All I want is to be able to share files between the two computers and use the printer between the two computers. Can you help?  Are there any special situations or problems related to networking later versions of windows with their newer versions? what devises, other than a modem, router, and cables and network cards needed. Prefer wireless, or the easiest.Thanks |
