MessageDon't know where to begin. I a m a new blogger atrying to navigate my way through a series of pitfalls. At 84, with extremely poor sight, health, and hearing I AM IN A FOG while trying to understand this new language I call computereze. I have made typos I cannot correct, tried to move text to better positions, and what is most important to me, because of my failing health, is to be able to receive some recgnition before I say adios, good-bye, auf weider zehen, bon soir, and like that.

MessageDear Chuck.
Thanks for the site- really useful so far. However, one small problem. I seem to be having a LSP or Winsock layer problem, using Windows Vista... all the programs you suggest (Winsock, Winsock 2 etc) are for XP users or less. I was wondering if you recommended any new programmes for this problem, and if you had even heard of this problem existing on Vista (i know it probably does, but just want to check!!)

Thanks a lot
Ed

MessageThanks for the explanation about the C: users format used by Vista instead of C documents and settings etc...used by XP. Wish this information was explained better when you upgrade from XP
