MessageHello to all the Mike trp tankers.
Yes i remember Helms, Scott, and Harrison. I also remember Frank Kenia, John Fitch, and Glen McBride. I ran across a web site not long ago that
is interesting, has all the Wehrmact posts in Germany. In the Wildflecken part there was a phrase the Waffen SS had for Wildflecken "Lieber den arsch voller zecken als ein tag in Wildflecken" or (Better an ass full of ticks than a day in Wildflecken). Would like to have some flip-tops at the hole-in-the-wall sometime.

MessageHello all 14th ACR Troopers. I love your site as it is full of great information and photos. I am looking for some help in locating photos from a former CO of the 14th Cavalry, Colonel Adrian St John. The Colonel was a very close, personal friend and he just passed away on January 6, 2007. I would love some candid and or posed photos of him so if anyone can help in any way, please contact me. If copies need to be made, I will gladly pay for them. Hope to hear from you and and best to all.

MessageHello and Merry Christmas troopers. I sent previous postings to this site and I also have fond memories of Hersfeld. I was there from 64 -67. HHQ 3rd. In the motorpool. I sent a few pictures to Deitz and he posted one to the site. I am going to throw a few names out and if anyone knows these guys let me know. Trooper Gray, a black guy who worked in the tool room with me. Al Sestawicki, Herman Reese, Earl Hardeman, Gary Palmer ( not the golfer) . I know my chances of contacting these guys are slim but who knows. My best to all. Good Health. Have a flip top for all the guys in the 14th.
