MessageJust wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed Buzby's Boys and the rest of your excellent website. I haven't laughed so much in ages. Don't know what your doing for a living now but I reckon you should be writing TV scripts! Your stuff is far better than anything I've seen on the box.
smilie Fantastic work. Well done.

MessageHi Dennis, fabulous site full of fun and laughs. Not in the industry, but the owner of several strowger exchanges as a hobby. I really enjoyed the stories and the crack. I spend my life up electricity pylons and as you've said, working as part of a small team (two in my case) produces a bond between people that is hard to find elsewhere. My motto is Life's too short, especially to take it too seriously smilie , so thank you, enjoy whatever you are doing now and don't forget, sanity is over-rated anyway.

MessageWhat a great site. I joined the GPO in 1972 in NW London. I am now at BT Adastral Park in Martlesham. 32 years man and boy and what changes over those years. Probably one of the few left who have a chance to see retirement out of the job I started as an apprentice. Great stories that bring back memories of my own experiences in GPO, Post office Telecommunications, British Telecom and now BT. Had me in stitches with tears rolling down my cheeks. Priceless memories.

MessageGreat site.
You have done what we all want to do - tell the stories!
I joined in 1981 and I'm still with BT (although working inside now). Loads of changes over the years , many of them for the better, many not, but your stories brought back good memories of my early days at work.

Messagesmilie What a great site. I joined in '79 so got my 25 years in last month. I think I'll probably stay. Started in London HQ Drawing Offices - could wite a book about D.O. parties. Having worked in every major building in London finally now moving to the local exchange so at last I'll find out how it works ! I've met some real characters and made many friends - not many firms have that magic. Hope it never goes.

Messagegreat site, you should write a book. I remember some of the stories which have passed into legend.
I joined BT in 79, on Internal Construction, did a bit of linesman in the mid eighties from Rotherham,
still with BT, still enjoying it.
