| Message | I would like to express my deepest sympathies to Shawns family friends and all those that worked with him and knew him in the MMA world. My thoughts and prayers are especially with Mark Hominick, Sam Stout, and Emilie Tompkins and Shawns parents, I remember Shawn in his Tillsonburg days as a kind and always smiling guy and would do anything for anyone. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. |

| Message | I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Shawn this past May during MMAjunkie Radio's 1,000th show. While I never had the opportunity to interview him, it was clear to me how well spoken and extremely knowledgeable Shawn was. I have a huge amount of respect for Mr. Tompkins and he was a terrific person. Our sport has lost a great coach, who truly loved the sport and his athletes. My condolences go out to Emilie, Sam, Chris, Mark, and his entire family. |
