Message | Greetings, Joan. I just finished reading TOL. I loved it. Please keep spreading the good word about buying local. We need it now more than ever. After reading your book, I am more committed now to getting whatever I can't grow myself from the farmers markets that are gaining traction here in Lincoln, Nebr. One question though: Since the water in the Hudson River is salt water, doesn't it do more damage to your garden than flooding by itself might otherwise do? It's hard to believe salt water infiltration isn't a problem in general where you are, which would make gardening successfully very difficult. Thank you so much for your hard work. --Rachael |
