MessageShortly after arriving in Vietnam in June ‘68, I was assigned to Alpha Co., 1st Bn 20th Infantry, and met Captain Bill Adams, the Commanding Officer. Back then all I knew is he was our leader and we were there to do a job. It⿿s only during the past few years that I had a chance to get to know him and I’m thankful that I did. Captain Bill Adams (Wild Bill) was quite the guy and he will be sincerely missed. Our deepest condolences go to Bill’s family and friends. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

MessageDad had many important people in his life. Not only his family but his military family as well. I think I love him more now than
ever. I may not have been able to be with him as much as I would have liked to but I know some day I will be with him forever.
Thank God for Independence Day!!!!!!!!!!! and Dad.

MessageTo the Adams family,
I served with Bill at Schofield Barracks Hawaii and later in Vietnam. I will always cherish the many memories that I have of
him. Bill was a true leader and will be sorely missed with his big heart for people and his concerns for our country.
May the Lord give you peace, comfort and his love through this difficult time.

MessageTo the family of Bill Adams:
I am Bill’s cousin. I remember all the good times that we shared in our younger days. He was a very sweet man and he will
surely be missed by us all. May God look over all of us, for I know Bill will be. He always made sure that his family and friends
were taken care of and we are very proud of him.

MessageTo All,
Wild Bill and I shared the Americal Div. as a home and duty station. I met him in Reno and got to know him through the
internet. There were no gray areas with Bill, you either were or you weren’t, I liked that about him. The world was a better
place with Bill in it and now heaven is a better place with Bill.
Distance and time does not allow me to be in attendence on Monday but I will be there in spirit. My deepest sympathies to all
of the Adams family, thinking of you in this time of loss, Randy Cline
