Message | As a blog, it's well done in its own right, only in the negative sense.
You know what, scare and smear campaigns can go only this far (keep an eye on Obama, the smeared one). China is growing and prospering: the Olympics and even the Para-Olympics proves it. The world has seen what China is really about, albeit superficially. But the truth is, China is becoming a world leader.
So how do you deal with a China that is highly regarded and revered. Don't you see the wide-spread boycott voices from the world leaders turning into heart-felt support? I'm sure they were patting on themselves for not eventually slighting the Chinese.
I sympathize with the Tibetan cause, but I was really appalled by the way it was carried out during the Olympic torch relay. You're alienating yourselves from the Chinese people. If the majority of the Chinese say NO, then it's a NO. So be realistic! Get what you deserve: autonomy. Separation? Forget about it, forever! |
