MessageI am writing to tell you I oppose the Beijing Olympics and will not buy any products of any sponsors of these games. I will not support our athletes in any way, and actively beg them not to participate in these games if they have any regard for the rights of human beings. China is aggressively decimating the Tibetan peoples and their homeland -- which has NO historic relationship with China, except paying tribute to the Mongols when the Mongols ruled China. It is American opposition which keeps China from destroying the free country of Taiwan. We can do the same for Tibet, and we must, through opposing these games. I don't have time to address the Falun Gong and Christian, and in fact, every religion, under Chinese Communism. We must call it what it is. Communism kills people who disagree with its ideas. This is a fact. WAKE UP, PEOPLE! OPPOSE THE GAMES!

MessageI was born in Beijing and grew up there. Like a lot of other Beijingers, I wanted Olympics, because I hoped our lives would get better, and the human rights condition would improve.
But experience shows it's not the case. The closer it gets to the Olympics, the more oppressive the government gets. People have lost their houses to the new roads and new buildings.
Olympics should only be held in China when:

Christians, Tibetan Buddhists, Muslims, Falun Gong practitioners and believers of other religions are free.
People can vote for the leaders of the nation.
No more prisoners of conscience.
There is freedom of press and speech.
Taiwan can choose whether they want to be independent or not via a referendum.
ETC.

We want human rights first, then Olympics.

MessagePlease add The CIPFG Boycotts the Bloody Harvest Games to your great site.

Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) has recently branded the Games to be held in Beijing the “Bloody Harvest Games”, following the investigative reports conducted by Canadian human rights lawyer David Matas and former Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) David Kilgour on the illegal organ harvesting trade from Falun Gong prisoners of conscience in China.

We believe that the 2008 Olympics cannot go ahead in Beijing while the above atrocities are occurring. To do so would be a travesty of the Olympic spirit and the antithesis of the Olympic Charter’s statement to encourage “the establishment of a peaceful society concerned with preservation of human dignity”.

China’s present leaders have much at stake in making the Games a success; it is up to us to put human rights on the agenda while they are listening.

Together, we invite you to become a participant and supporter of a global torch run for human rights inspired by the Olympic torch relay. With your support, we can light the human rights torch and make human dignity a priority during the 2008 Olympics.

Please help to keep the human rights flame alive and support the global human rights relay.
