MessageHi Jason,
We are counting down the minutes till you come home. If you're really lucky, I can try
and screw up my computer again so you'll have something to fix when you get back.
We had a snow day Friday. Remember them? They are still just as exciting as ever. The hot flashes are heating up. So tempted to just go out side and roll around in the snow. We'll keep a little for you in the freezer.
So you're gonna be an uncle? I think you should provide a "little cousin". Keep your chin up and hurry back safe. Love you and miss you!

MessageStumbled upon your site, and was honored to hear that you, an American soldier, are reading my book The Last Season while deployed in Iraq... I'm glad the book was thought provoking for you. Thank you for the kind words, and thank you for your service to our country.

best regards,

Eric

MessageDear Jason,
Harry and I think of you often and appreciate your service and sacrifice. I know from our son that the conditions are really rough, and he was only deployed in Iraq for 6 months. Too long for me! I can only imagine what you are going thru. Stay safe and we are eagerly looking forward to hearing from Beth and Mike that you are home safe and sound.
God Bless you!
Gwen

MessageHey Jase, I can't believe that you are going to be reassigned! You are such a good guy, they want you everywhere! They can't want you more over there than everyone wants and needs you home!

MessageHi Jason, that really stinks you are being reassigned. What are they thinking??? smilie 40 days left! Kinda makes you question the political power. Try to enjoy the change and think of it as one last bump in the road, the road that leads you home! Our kitchen make over is in full swing and i absolutely love it. We cannot wait to have you over to see it. Try to get through this last month of deployment! We are praying for you always! We love you! Please be careful and stay safe!
God Bless you and hang in there!

MessageHey Jas-

I could have wet myself reading those letters from home!! Which, by the way I am glad you didn't die either! I can only imagine the blue vein pulsing as you saw all the paint running off the building! Sounds like quality work being done over there, I am glad they'll be able to take care of themselves in 16 months! HA. I can't wait to see you, the count down is in full force now. Stay safe until then, and enjoy being the best lame duck you can be!!!! Take care, we'll see you soon! I'll try to have a latte ready for you when you get off the plane!

Love,
Erin and the gang!

Messagesmilie Heard a rumor you're gonna stay there with the contractors and build the patios the right way and Dad's coming over to help and supervise! Maybe Patrick and Kevin and even Dave Lucy can come help out! Just kidding. smilie smilie smilie Anyway, hang in there! As you well know, everyone these days is looking for the cheap/lazy way to do things with the least amount of work for the cheapest price. The hard part is to keep your morals and beliefs and do it the right way, no matter what the lazy asses around you do! Frustrating, does not even come close to describing it. It's a day to day lesson we are constantly reminded of, not just in Iraq! Stay your course and remain strong. I know, it's tough. January/February are tough months but March is gonna be a great one. I love you!! Mom P.S. Dad is checking out your candidates quotes as we speak!
