MessageHello Rose,

It was really great to talk to you earlier today. We really must get together again sometime soon.

Your Oceanos website is looking better and better and sure brings back memories of when we sank.

I know I would feel very differently about my involvement with the rescue if somehow Tracy or I, or one of the other entertainers had left someone on board after we had finally got off.

It's still hard to believe that we managed to get everyone safely ashore and we didn't lose a single life.

Anyway, in spite of it all, I still love ships, and cruising and playing music.

All the best to you and Derek.

Moss

MessageHi everyone, once again thanks for all the messages, wow Mark you were in A was that not the top level, our cabin number if I remember correctly was V027 we did not even have a port hole so it was dark all the time. I think I remember waking up the first day thinking it is still night time and it was already 11a.m. Guys once again thanks for the messages it makes blogging worth while.

MessageHi Rose and all the other survivors.
A very short version of events was shown on 'Worlds Most Amazing Videos' today. Your blog is fab and gave great insight into the tragic events of that day. I was so happy to hear at the end of the clip that all passengers survived. I think the Captain should have been charged with attempted murder, he left you out there to perish, I wonder how he sleeps at night.
Best wishes to you and your friends
smilie

MessageHi Rose, thanks for the great site you put up describing the terrible tragedy of the Oceanos. It's a shame the cowardly Captain of the Oceanos received little if any punishment for his abandonment of the passengers - he is now a Captain of an inter-island ferry in Greece. I don't think anyone was punished for this loss which looks like a clear case of negligence to me.
