MessageI am not sure if this is the right spot to put this, but I have a serious issue.

Now when I say low budget I mean LOW budget. Not spending my money on clothes, shoes, accessories, etc.... just rent, bills, gas, and food. My food is to a bare minimum as well, like ramen, rice and beans kind of tight. I literally live from paycheck to paycheck to survive. Barely at times..... so my question is, for someone with a budget like mine, how are we to buy vegetables, and fruits, lean meats to lose weight. Or shit really just to be eating healthy..

MessageHello,

Thanks for sharing your story. I had a laser surgery more than 10 years ago. That was successful. But lately, I have noticed more floaters and am more sensitive to light. I scheduled an appointment next Monday to see an ophthalmologist. I am a bit nervous right now. Just don't know what to expect. I am hoping nothing bad because I have two very young children at home who still needs a lot of my attention. And I have no family around. Oh well, just want to vent it out.

Wish you the best of luck. I will pray for you. smilie

MessageThank you for sharing your experience. I am preparing to be with my mom, who will need full reattachment of the retina in her right eye --much like your right eye experience. Your experience helps me know what to expect and hope to be able to provide her some support. I wish you a wonderful life. m.

MessageHi I just read your story since I just had laser surgery. Doctor says it is successful but gave me the letter to go to a big hospital for further check (he is a clinic doctor). I am so happy to have come across your story. Perhaps it will prepare me for a nightmare to come. Very grateful you posted it for us. Even though I have never met you I am concerned for you and wish you the best. I also live in Tokyo, could you tell me what hospital you went to?

Best wishes to you.

MessageJust read your journal on your retina detachment ordeal. I wanted to say that I am 6 weeks post op from my surgery. Most importantly I wanted to point out that I am 100% convinced my problems are due to lasik surgery in 2002, cataract surgery in 2011 and then the retina tears and detachment. I truly believe the lasik was the trigger and the cataract replacement just put me over the edge for further problems with the retina. I loved the way lasik allowed me to function w/o glasses and contact lenses but I think if I had to do it over again, I would NOT do the lasik!!

MessageHi Sunil,

I came across your blog and was very saddened to learn about your eye problems. I know you will persevere and overcome this obstacle.

Here is a video that you may find of interest in your diet quest. It's long, but well worth watching in it's entirety.

MessageI was familiar with the history associated with Auschwitcz but after reading your blog, I almost had tears in my eyes. It took me a while to recover from what I just read in your blog.
I had very similar experience when I visited Hiroshima Atom bomb Peace Memorial. Life is full of unpleasant surprises but it is even more unfortunate to see what people have done to each other purely due to their greed for identity and resources. I truly believed, these visits should be made mandatory to all politicians and decision makers of all countries. Even if, just a few change their way to look at people as 'humans' and not as 'citizens of a country or follower of a particular religion', I think, the purpose of these visits would be served.
