Messagefantastic pictures it was great looking back on where I lived in Everton. I was a bit disappointed at first because I couldn't find the street I lived in when I looked into the Streets of Liverpool A-Z but when I looked at the map for the next street I found it, it had just been spelt wrong, I can tell my grandchildren now. Keep up the good work as I have said its fantastic smilie smilie smilie

MessageLovely Site. I have just bought the book of Liverpool in the 50's and there are so many memories.

I remember the bombies and also the 'stone fights we used to have. Shudder at the thought now. This was at the back of Breeze Hill in Bootle in the 50's. Great days if fraught with self induced danger.

MessageOh what a wonderful website, my cousin sent me the link and I'm thrilled. Thank you so much. Now I can share with my grandson what it was like where his Nana grew up. Mum used to take me to see the Pathe Newsreels, and cartoons at the Tatler, followed by lunch at Lewis', it was a big treat.
