MessageI will always remember Sean as a polite young man and his humble beginnings at Goodlife Fitness Downtown. He would always have a smile on his face and seemed to have a positive outlook on life.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends.

MessageI'm very sorry for your loss.

I didn't know anything about Shawn before i heard that he'd died. But I've never seen everybody in our world effected like this before. I'm sorry I didn't have the opportunity to appreciate him. Clearly he was an inspiring man and the kind of guy you'd want to know. Shawn Tompkins is known as one of those all giving, all in people who made MMA what it is.

I'm grateful for the way he lived his life.

MessageThoughts and prayers to Shawn's family and friends. He will be sadly missed. We met Shawn when we started training in Muay Thai during his Team Tompkins TKO days in Kitchener, Ontario. It was an honour to have met him and that members of our club got to train with him and Mark Hominick. Our Kru Chris broke your ring during one of your events. You were an inspiration to us all and we will never forget you. You did so much for the sport of Muay Thai and MMA. You made us proud. Rest in Peace

MessageIt's a shame when anyone dies. It's a bitter pill to swollow when someone passes who has a huge passion for something they love and that passion rubs off on everyone around them. I've never met Shawn Tompkins, however from reading/listening to interviews you can notice he had that rare quality that could inspire a lot of people with his passion and for that I have a great respect for Shawn, RIP. You'll be sorely missed.

MessageI never knew the man personally. I have however heard a great deal about him through other people. Out of all I have heard, not one bad thing was said about him. One thing is for sure, he changed many peoples lives, for the better.
