Thank you so much for sharing your blog! We have been thinking of you often and hoping the best for a FULL recovery smilie Like other folks have said, our experience with surgeons has been that they have some weird quirks and bedside manner is often lacking, but that's why they are surgeons. You are strong, of mind and spirit, and we love and support you! Let us know if there is anything we can do (perhaps a much-needed post-op drink, after the pain meds wear off?) smilie Red also offers up physical therapy so you can buff up for next football season - no such thing as training too soon or too much (hehe)!

MessageHey Frister, just wanted to let you know I'm out here thinking about you. I talked to your parents when they were up last week, and got the scoop, but at that point the surgery wasn't scheduled yet. I'll be watching the blog to get more answers. I hope you start to have more minutes when you're not overwhelmed. Have a happy thanksgiving - remember lots to be thankful for - and say hi to everybody. We have to get Judah and Daphne together soon! Love you, Karen

MessageJudy-- I was stunned to hear of your diagnosis. If there is anything you would like me to share with you about this process, please let me know. I have had a lumpectomy, axillary lymph node dissection, will finish chemo on December 31st and will have radiation starting Feb. 09. My cancer however was triple negative (no receptors to the hormones or the HER2 protein) so my chemo is probably different than yours would be if you need it.

It sounds like you are doing everything you possibly can. Charlie and I are keeping you in our thoughts and sending love and positive energy out to you!

If it helps any, surgeons suck at bedside manner. Mine was "detached" as well. I think its a thing with them. Again, please give me a shout if there is anything I can share with you.

Best Wishes-
Lynda
