You were in the past and remain to this day, my teacher. You've guided so many of us in a positive way and given us all the courage to do what we never thought we could. | Message | Jude, I just got off the phone with you a little bit ago and since then, have been in a fog. We hung-up and I just s t o o d t h e r e....rooted to the spot....trying to grasp it all...feeling it really start to sink in. It's unbelievable. But, here it is, and so, choices are being made, and coping has begun, and here we are. One thing I believe, is that you are never faced with anything in this life that you don't have the ability to handle. If it is happening to you, then you are ABLE to deal with it....even if you can't comprehend how. Just know that you absolutely CAN. I am so glad you have the blog, and are facing it head on, with your eyes wide open, and that you have your mom as your patient advocate and all your family and friends standing right by your side to support you. I am proud to be counted among them. I'm here for you, whatever you may need along your journey to recovery! But, don't think because I am being so serious right now, that I can't go right back to being a flippant jackass whenever you want.
