My father served on the uss boston ca69 as a radio operator during wwii. I have a question that i would like to ask. Does anyone know where i can get a picture of the radio room onboard the uss boston ca69 that was taken during the war? I have been searching for this for over seven(7) years now to no avail. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have some info. Thanks Brian Connelly

hi started rma school bainbridge md 59 graduated feb 60. first ship was a icebreaker out of boston. code in and out. copied w dsbcst washdc and norfolk then switching to cfh out of halifax ca they would send military one hour and civilian for a hour. when in port we had to guard own bcst since most of the ships went to tty at 60 wpm uncovered. although we had one tty and a ura8 converter we could not set it up. tbk tde and taj those were our fxmitters. rba rbb rbc were our receivers. all fun. rm ret usn
