MessageMy thoughts and Prayers are with the people of Georgia. How dare Russia think it has the right to threaten the integrity of European countries. Russia is an agressor.
Russia's invasion of Georgia would be the equivalent of Britain deciding it wanted The Repbulic of Ireland back and invading. Georgians won their independence like many other states and do not wish to be ruled, bullied or opressed by a foreign power. Russia has had the cheek to criticise other nations for their wrong doings and now has gone and done the same thing. They are hypocrites.
Now it has dared threaten a member of the EU. Many people have been angered by this. Poland is now a part of Europe not the USSR (WHICH NO LONGER EXISTS) Let the past stay where it is. Let us not repeat the same mistakes.
We should be moving forwards not backwards - There is enough problems in the world without Russia adding to them.
I value peace and i value freedom.
May everyone who has died rest in peace and everyone who commits an act of violence against another human being live with their guilt.

MessageMy condolences to Georgian people. We're mourning and suffering with you all.

We all know that Putin is behind this atrocity against Georgia. The "great" and "courageous" russian army should be ashamed of being so abusive.
Since the agression begun, I'm a Georgean too.

MessageAs a citizen of both Estonia and the US, I offer my condolences, as well as my apologies that direct and moderate military intervention was not used to stop the Russian invasion and occupation.

I believe it is not in any way disrepectful to the dead to take this opportunity to note that just as Russia was brutal and self-serving, the US was on this occasion cowardly and duplicitous. Be assured that there are many individuals who would fight for Georgian independence and who reject injustice, obfuscation and insincere political promises.

Courage!
