| Message | I have been a buyer and a seller on pageantresale.com for about 3 years now. I absolutely LOVE it! It's a great source to shop for gowns from the comfort of my own home and it's a great way to aquaint yourself with many different designers, styles, colors, etc. I have purchased my daughter's gown for high school pageant in 2006 and sold the gown for the exact same price after she wore it! It was a beautiful custom gown from Cinderella's Closet in Atlanta. I also purchased her gown for SC's Junior Miss on the site, an exquisite pale pink Crown Collection ball gown. I have had a lot of luck selling on pageantresale.com, too. I operate an online pageant, prom, and competition dance costume business and I list many things for sale on the site. Rachel, the owner/operator of the site is such a dedicated gal that pays such great attention to detail. She does an amazing job of updating the site. I do want to remind everyone that sells on the site to publish their sales immediately. This helps all of us, both buyers and sellers. No reason to long for something you cannot purchase! I would like to warn other sellers about a buyer who convinces sellers to discount their gowns then sends echecks to PayPal that go unpaid due to insufficient funds. Her name is Jerilyn Perez, and she is from Texas. You can email me for details and I will share the email exchange with you. I turned down 3 potential buyers, thinking the gown was sold. Just beware, people who behave like this should find another site to haunt. |
