Message | Hope the weigh in went ok. I am still working on the private plane option. The diocesan office is assisting me; we are checking all possible leads. If you decide on another action, give me a buzz so I can let people know. All of you remian in my prayers- love always! |

Message | Sorry, I forgot to suggest this on the last post. There are many more "Angel type" flights into Orlando. Jax has less opportunities. Orlando is a longer drive home, but you are in the car and not in a germ-laden airport. I don't think that Gracie would qualify for "Make a Wish" but that organization routinely goes to Disney. Make a Wish might be able to suggest other options. Just a thought. Love, Roseanna |

Message | sorry I haven't checked in lately. Busy, but that is not an excuse. I have a tad of experience with Angel Flight. You probably already know this but here goes. The NFL has programs that fly sick kids around; also NetJets will often put kids on private flights. Don Imus and his wife Deidre have a foundation for kids with cancer and blood disorders (I'm thinking Gracie is a blood disorder). I'm sure you can find an address on the web for them. The Inmus' have a ranch in New Mexico for sick kids. Yes, the much maligned "shock jock" and his wife spend much time and money helping sick children (40 million last year alone). Also try the SIDS Foundation at Hackingsack Hospital in New Jersey, another Imus venture (blood disorders). If all else fails, ask the regular airlines if you can be up-graded to first class -- you won't be squeezed into a tiny space. When you choose an airline, ask for people to donate frequent flyer miles so you can be in first class. Most airlines allow others to donate frequent flyer miles, and with a first class ticket you can probably spend your lay-over time in a first class lounge. Have Gracie give the lady at the door her winning smile. The pics are great. I love the outfit. What a snappy dresser. This must be a "Kelly women" family trait. In all fairness, Munts is also a snappy dresser, but I suspect that Noni has a hand in this. I so look forward to having you home. I know that you can't wait. Much love, Roseanna |
