| Message | i have a nephew who was just diagnose with hurler syndrome late lasy year in the philippines.we strted to notice changes in him physically after his 3rd bday, we thought hes autistic or a slow learner,and as my sister were telling us that we wait and see ,he might change, he had inguinal hernia operation when he was 4months old.now, due to financial capability of my sister and our family, we cant afford to have the treatment in the philippines .now, my mum told me that he cant walk now, cant even talk,and needs to be carried wheneveryou tranfers him, needs to be fed,and someone hsa to look after him 24/7.we search the internet on this disease, and realize thatwe only have little time to be with him.i said to my sister, spend more quality time with him,let him feel that he is very much loved by his family,if only we can turn back time,if only he was diagnose early, if only we knew it....my heart is crying everytime i think of him,.he just turned 7 last june.i hope and pray that he can still spend more time with us, his family.hes the first grandchild in our family, we dearly loved him.i hope me and my family can spend xmas with them this year.I dont want to think that we will lose him, i dont know how will i bear it.thank you, god bless |
