| Message | I just read Ryan's book as I'm sitting in my husband's room at Rosedale Hospice. My husband Erik is 39 years old and was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme in November 2009. We have a 4 year old daughter named Tessa....Erik's diagnosis came 1 week after she turned 3 - Erik and I have been together almost 16 years. Erik is an avid cyclist - a superfit and positive guy - like Ryan, Erik was always smiling and would do anything for his girls. Erik did the Ride to Conquer Cancer last June, 7 months after his diagnosis, and was the 3rd rider in, out of almost 1900 riders! He is and always will be my hero. As I lay here watching my husband dying, in the end stages of this horrible disease, I can't help but feel a connection to the Westermans... I would like to talk to Tasha about how she talked to her son about Ryan's death....there is no manual on this and I'm terrified of this whole process in regards to our daughter. Any insight would be appreciated. Please have Tasha email me, if at all possible. Thanks Kathy Vatanen |

| Message | Hi Iam bad with introductions but I thought I could adleast say hallo too you all. Not sure what to say here .... I live in France and plan on relocating to the states soon. In a matter of fact Iam leaving to Chicago the next day with my wife. I will be back in a 7 days if any one want ill post some pictures |

| Message | I'm not too sure if I have the right Tasha Westerman or not! Recently, I adopted a beautiful big dog named Maysi and, after looking through her records, found the names Ryan and Tasha as her previous owners.I was sorry to read that Ryan passed away but still wanted you to know (if you're the right Tasha) that Maysi is a wonderful dog!She lives on our farm, goes xcountry skiing with us and has won the love of our 2 kids (Dan 12, Meg 9). If you were the owner, thank you for the obvious training and time that was spent on this big girl. Also, if you ever want to swing by and see her, you'd be more than welcome! Thanks again, Trish |

| Message | Tasha, I've read your blog for a while, now. Somehow landed here through another blog, perhaps Chelsea's. I think of you often and admire how bravely you approach this new time in your life with Talyn. My husband was diagnosed with a low grade oligoastrocytoma almost 3 years ago now, and we know that it's a very difficult path. Ryan walked it with true grace and an abundance of loving support from you and Talyn. Wishing you strength to make it through the holidays. |
