| Message | You know, I just recently found out about this very good comedy series called BlackAdder (by Rowan Atkinson...the Mr.Bean guy). It's a historical sitcom, and although it's funny...the ending was really sad. Everything rings true about war. You can search it on youtube if you want. I thought of telling you because I know you're really interested in history. I found this extract of the ending of a popular poem in the comments: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori. Translation: 'It is right and proper to die for ones country' War is sad. (which does not even come close to describing it) |
