MessageHi, I don't know if this site is still active but here goes anyway. As you can see my name is Nick Cooper and I wrote a database program for the Tatung Einstein published as a listing in the back of "Personal Computer World" I think there was a chimp (there were several) on the front cover. I was just wondering if there was any evidence of my acheivemnt around. It got me on an A Level course and later on toSystems Analysis and Design certificate course.

Kind regards,

Nick Cooper

MessageHi, just watching the 1983 Film WarGames with Mathew Broderick, this brought back memories of my 1st computer all them years ago, the Tatung Einstein... I was the only kid in my street to have as everyone else had an Atari or Spectrum... I loved the Flight Path 737, but was useless at it.. Anyway was nice to look up this piece of kit and find a full website...

Regards

Darren

MessageHello there, i've been watching your site for a little while now, and it's pretty impressive. I too have an Einstein, still fully working, and a huge stack of games, software and some blank disks yet to be filled up, all still working! Also have many books and magazines. I even still play it today, being as my Dad bought it when I was 2 years old. But i quickly picked up the programming language and made many programs. It was quite funny reading your opinion on Fu kung in las vegas. Its not the hardest game in the world once you know how to play it, I can get up to level 9 and thats it because it is officially impossible. I'm now a programmer by career and in my spare time have re-created some games into windows versions, not emulated, but re-written, including Starbase, City defender and Snakes. Just basically wanted to make myself aware to you that I am also obsessed with this machine!

MessageHi again
Just a big thanks for the Compendium image.
When Graham got back off his hols i found out that he had passed on all his Einey stuff when he gave the mag over to a new group. My brother in law wrote the horse race game in speccie basic and I rewrote it together with sprites for the Einey. He has recently retired and he hasn't had a Speccie for some time so I am now going to rewrite his game with family references. Thanks again. Keep up the great work. Mike

MessageHi, brilliant site. Great to see that the Tatung Einstein is still remembered and the games used. I used to write games for the Tatung under the name of Bell Software, which I am delighted to see you have on your list of programs.
I have been playing some of my own games (of course) and 'City Defender' leaves a bit to be desired. So I will be getting out my old program listings and making a few corrections. Would you like these when I have them sorted?
I have loads of Tatung stuff in the loft, so I'll see if I have anything that's on your wanted list .....looks like you have quite a lot already though. If I have anything that will add to your collection, I'll let you know.
Once again, great site, thaks for all your hard work.
