MessageHi, I have just aquired a TC01 with TK02 80-column monochrome card. many thanks for a tremendous job with your web site; it provides a truly valuable resource.

I wonder if there is a better scan of the main circuit diagrams on pages 33 and 34 of the hardware Manual pdf file. As, on the right, the left page is very faded and the right page has been clipped. A multi-page scan would be a superb addition if that were possible.
Regards,
Mike

MessageI think I bought the only Tatung Einstein ever sold in Scotland. I also owned an Oric 1 and Oric 1 3" disk drive expander. I transferred the Oric 3" drive to the Einstein when the Oric disk controller went phut. Don't remember what happened to it, I think I gave it away. never got it to actually do anything much.

MessageLoved the Einstein as a teen, am now looking to relive the battles I had with my father on chuckie egg (he's now deceased), I will find a complete model in good condition at some point so as I can once again rule chuckie egg. Ha ha. My own teens love Xbox, but once I show them, and cream them at chuckie egg, they too can relive the 80's. Ha ha. Great site, glad someone is keeping past dreams alive.
Thanks.
Dave

MessageHi
A extra item for the Einstein was a TV tuner called a “Screenvision”
These were sold by Screensmicrocomputers in Northwood London.
If any one has one (in any condition) for sale ? please advise.
All the best.

MessageMy Dad had an Einstein when I was a kid in the 80s. My friends and I (and my Dad) loved playing Chuckie Egg. Great to stumble across this website and see the screenshots. Brought back some fab memories of childhood x smilie
