MessageHello,
I must sell my father's 1976 280Z (97,579 miles) and would like to know the best way to go about this. It has always been garaged, has unfortunately sat as non-op for 9 years so is running rough. The body and interior are in gorgeous shape. Just needs tlc and new brakes(at 50%). I have brake parts for it, many additional items, and specs with pictures I can email. If anyone is interested or can give me information on best way to sell please contact me @ [email protected] Thank you. Lynette Koftinow

MessageHi,

I've got a 1988 Nissan 300ZX, Turbo with about 85,000 miles on a pristine body. The engine and clutch were replaced and has only about 20,000 miles on it. The car is original with an upgraded radio and exhaust system.

It's always been garaged and never seen snow. I just put new tires on the front because I still drive it on sunny days. It still runs great.

I live in southern NH near the Mass. boarder. I'm not sure how to give it the proper exposure for sale. I've got picturs if needed. Passes NH state inspections with now issues.

Thanks, Bill

MessageHello!

I am a Z31 lover from Columbus, Ohio. I have a strange request...

I have purchased what I think is a 1984 50th Anniversary Edition demo car done by R.Straman for the Santa Ana Datsun Dealership. I was trying to do some research and it does not look they exist anymore, or changed names?

The address on my warranty book shows PO BOX 10079 in Santa Ana, CA 92711. The name on the book was "Mr Wilde Demo", no other info on the actual owner. There was one entry on the maintenance schedule, the 22.5K mile service was done by "Rontell's"(black stamp) back on 6-9-92, when the car had 19,257 miles. I can make out a partial address from where the tag registration bleed onto the plastic owner's folder, the guy was from Caruthers, CA 93609, he transfered from a Dodge.

The vin of my car is JN1CZ14S1EX015581 if that helps anyone.

The car actually had all the Nissan/Datsun, Z, 300ZX and 50th badges removed, and the rims replaced to get the car to look like something else, a real custom job for sure, it even has ABS. I figured if any of you had ever seen it around, or knew anyone who might have worked or works at either of those shops mentioned...maybe you could help me trace the history. Heck, while I'm at it, does any of you know anyone who might have worked with Straman back in the day... smilie

Thanks for your time, feel free to spread the request around, I would love to know the story behind this special car.

Todd in Ohio

MessageHello from Modesto,CA, Aka: "MO Town" of Central Calif. I provide various slide shows for ZONC up north and am always looking for the other adventurers pictures. Our club website http:www.ZONC.Org has a great planner calendar and as a fairly new member, I always look towards the new adventures. Yes, times are a little tough in CA just now. With a "Z", life does have a brighter side on the open roads smilie
