| Message | Hi! I'm looking for my 'old' 240Z (HLS3547) subject of my book "How to Restore Your Datsun Z Car" back in the '80s. I bought it new in July '70 and restored it for the book (still in print - 21 years now - by California Bills Autobooks)but later had financial troubles and sold it back to Nissan USA. I understand a member of Group Z is the present owner; if he would like to initiate a contact, I would by grateful. I'm rebuilding a silver '71 -- the color I ordered anyway -- as a warm daily driver. We loved 3547, but it wasn't much fun as a show car after the restoration. Z's need to be driven!
