| Message | Hi Fee! I'm in the foothills of NC! I would definitely like to know when some of the APBT shows are around. I went to one about two years ago, they had weight pulling & showing. There were some pretty dogs. Storm is only registered with the AKC & she has pink around the eyes, so that disqualifies her for showing. That's why I take her to "informal" shows. But my main reason of taking her anywhere is to show everyone that a "pitbull" is not a bad dog. PS: My email is [email protected] Send me some APBT club info!!! |

| Message | Love the site! Storm is such a pretty dog!!! I have two staffordshire's, both are rescues. Steele is my blue male and Blanco is my white female. Steele was left to starve in a pen, when his previous owner realized he would not fight and Blanco was set to be PTS, since she was deaf. Both are altered and doing great! I also have a female pit/mix, Tasha and a boston/bull terrier, ACE. ACE was thrown from a moving car and has multible scares on most of his back. I just love the breed and wish people would get off of them and find something new to be upset over... Love your site! Keep up the good work! Rascal |

| Message | Hi Andee, love the pics of the doggies walking. Especially like the one of Storm with her little pink "necklace" on. My best friend and I walk our dogs at the local park a lot too. And one time this little spaniel tried to pretty much eat them! Just goes to show everyone that all dogs can be aggressive if they want to be. I also wanted to mention that I am a member of an APBT club in North Carolina. We have fun shows and will be having a sanctioned show June 10. | Message | Hi Eric, I don't think anyone knows for sure why dogs (not only pits) eat grass. The reason that is most commonly thought of is because their tummy is upset, the grass helps them vomit, so it settles their tummy. Others think that its because they're lacking some type of minerals. Yet I've also been told that they like the taste of new grass, its sweet to them, then the edges of the grass irritate their tummy and it makes them vomit. Hope this helps. |
