MessageThat was a rather damming your comment on your bosses in Metron!

In the Independent yesterday it mentioned that 40% of professional had now left Iraq - as you have already said the same thing will happen in Lebanon. It also mentioned that 100 people a day are being killed in Iraq. How many people did Saddam kill a day? Saddam may have harboured terrorists but he was no threat to the Western World.

On Channel 4 news last night they interviewed an ex-CIA agent who was responsible for investigating Hezballah. He is the only person I have heard who has said anything sensible about the War in Lebanon in that if Isreal manages to kill the head of Hezballah someone else will take his place. Asked about the future, he said it will mean more terrorist attacks on America and Europe.

What really annoys me is that everyone, apart from Kopi Annan, has condemmed Hezballah and the support they get from Syria and Iran, but noone condemms Israel and the support it gets from Bush and Blair. It is a real tragedy. How can Israel complain about a few casualties and a few rocket attacks when they are bombing the life out of Lebanon and it is the civilians, women and children who are getting killed.

MessageHi Charles...

I have read your comments on the Lebanon Tradgedy, with total agreement to all you say. Why is it that ALL the people I know would also agree....when the Twins (Blair and Bush) can not see this MOST simple truth??

They (USA)express outrage that the Hezbullah rockets might be supplied by Syria or even Iran. Yes the death of innocents can NEVER be excused. BUT ALL the rockets and missiles used to slaughter Lenanese civilians CERTAINLY WERE made in USA....

This is a level of wicked hypocrisy that leaves a taste of very real disgust.

And a legacy of even greater hatred...

keep writing!!

MessageHey Charles, I really enjoyed your pictures, especially the ones from Somaliland.
Were you really born there? Anyhow I went their last summer and had a pretty
good time. I was wondering if you could contribute something to our magazine about your experience. Take a look at pacemagazine.com

Sincerely,

Sammy
