| Message | Hi Lanny Just wanted to tell you a quick story. You were wrestling as Leaping Lanny in Wichita ,KS in Late 1988. I had pretty lousy floor seats...so when the wrestlers came down the aisle I would push and fight my way to the fence to try and get a "high five" (I was an eigth-grader, by the way) You came to the ring, read a poem, and started throwing your frisbies. I made it nearly to ringside and "Leaped" off someone else's chair in a desperate attempt to take home a wizzing projectile. Unfortunately, The disk bounced off my hand and left me to fall onto the $15 dollars worth of beer cups held by the owners of those high dollar ringside seats. Those 2 guys just happened to be Mark and Mike Bell of the Kansas City Chiefs! They were very understanding, and obviously didn't kill me. We all had a blast. My Dad drove me home that night with a story to tell, and a beer soaked pink 'Macho Man' T shirt to prove it! Hope you enjoyed that little tale. God Bless the Benoit family. |
