Message | I thought you had gone the way of ther dinosaur. It is good to see that you are still in the game.
I bought 1313 in the late 70's, the note on the cover said it was Chamber music for the apocalypse!. I thought it was the best music I had heard since King Crimson changed my musical world view.
In 1981 I started a radio show called InComing Wounded on a volunteer-run community radio station, WEFT, Champaign, Illinois. And your music was one of the first groups I featured. 1313 stayed on my Best list for a decade, along with Heatwave. The show is still going and I still get inspiration from your music. I will have to dig out my old discs and play your music again. SOON!
And I will have to hunt down some of your new material and get it on the air around here. If you wish to send anything to the radio station send it to: WEFT 113 N. Market Street Champaign, IL 61820, USA c/o Jay Eychaner, Experimental Musice Director
I guarantee that it will get played!! You have given me many hours of listening pleasure, it is the least I can do.
Best of luck and much success. I hope you can make it to the midwestern U.S. sometime. Or that I can get to Belgium to see you. |
