Message | My father was a volunteer fireman in Arlington.He started at Clarendon where he is an honorary member.He was 16(around1931).He was an arl.cop when I was born in 1942,then was in the service as a fireman in Guam (1st tour)& Okinawa(2nd tour)Army Air Corp.He went on as a paid man in 1947.He retired in 1964,moved to Sarasota,Fl.He started the Arlington Retired Fireman Association-died in 1981. Your website is great.I recognize a lot of the older fireman mentioned.I still remember drinking the 5 cent cokes at the old Clarendon firehouse. My father`s name was Timmy Tthomson. |
