| Message | My mother was Elsie Bowman McLaughlin, daughter of Joe and Ida Creel Bowman. Ida was daughter of Henry Lee and Frances Fannie Hawkins Creel. Had a hard time finding any info on Creel's. | Message | Just found your website by looking up some geneology. I am a Valentine and see Levi Valentine on your list. My dad was from Gordon, Ga. adn I was born in Macon. Most of Valentines have died out now. A relative of mine did some research and I have traced the Valentines back to The Bates when they came into SC about 1787. That is as far back as I have. The Dunns lived a few doors down from the Byrds and Lees in Tarkington Prairie, Liberty County, Texas. They had two boys (George F and Robert R.).
