MessageHi, I am Teddy's mom. Thank you for your support! The article has been very well received around here. Hopefully Teddy's advocacy efforts will not only help improve his situation but all children with autism and disabilities.

MessageHello. I really just stumbled across your site and i want to Thank You for sharing with the rest of us. My son has turned 2 this month and he also has a dx of PDD-NOS and ODD and possible OCD and ADD, From my perpective, reading the more personal accounts seems to give me so much hope. I've done the reasearch and know the facts.... but there's something about hearing things from anothers mothers point of view that makes you not feel so alone, and feel like there is hope. You have been through so much, and came out okay and seem like such a caring mother. All I can do is Thank you again for sharing. It means SO much to some of us,I know it has helped me tremndously. I look forward to learning more about you and Chandler. Thanks again.
Sheri

MessageI saw Suzanne Wright on The View this morning about Chandler. As I watched I wondered if anyone has ever mentioned the many Autistic children are helped by a Gluten-Free Casein-Free Diet. I have heard of many children who have made dramedic inprovement after going on this diet. Including one boy locally who was about to be institutionalized at six and now at nine reads at the fourth grade level loves math and science and reads food labels for his mom so they don't get the wrong foods. The doctors don't know what to think or say but this mom putting the word out. The sooner the better. I've added some links for you to check if your interested.

MessageHI,
Love your site! First of all thanks for listing the Children of Destiny site. I now pray for my 5 year old every day. Mostly, thank you for your posts regarding Sensory Learning. We have been thinking about doing this therapy with our daughter for some time, but after reading your blog I felt that it was a sign from God (I always look for a sign before starting something new) that it was time. We start her program tomorrow! She will even have two sessions on Chirstmas Eve, Christmas Day, NY Eve and NY Day! She will complete the two-a-day sessions before having to go back to school. I haven't told any of her teachers what we are doing. I pray that her outcomes are as nice as your son's were.

Lee Anne
