First- Andreas, you're doing an amazing job. You da man!
Some feedback: The date format- 2006-2-14 is weird.. Feb 14, 2006 seems more natural to me (but I know it changes from place to place). Could we have this option? The country is not always relevant.. my guestbook would only be signed by my family in the same country. (I didn't even know there was a country called Kiribati...) the flags are cool, but I can give a custom field of "location" if I need it. At least, could we "uncheck" the flag field? Why is the guestbook space so narrow? Can we widen it? I get out of breath from all the scrolling.. A space between the entry fields (name, location, date, etc) and the actual message helps it to stand out and look better. Just my $.02, and again, you really have a cool thing here. Thanks. Thanks for your feedback!
I agree with all your input, and making country an optional field + custom date format is already on my todo-list. Regarding the layout I really would like to make the guestbook 100% template based so that width/spacing etc can be easily altered, but I have not yet had the time to fix this. Hopefully in the future ![]() |
