One live meeting and a bunch of phone sex don't make for husband material. This seems to be only a catalyst to some deep pain within yourself. You can't fix or change anyone in this family, you can only fix yourself. | Message | Your story has me heartbroken,cause my Parents are like Bryce's.I was kicked out,my Dad told me I disguted him and Mom told me I was going to burn in HEll.I grew up in Tennessee(Church of Christ)this happened in 1995 when I was 18.I am now 32 and they will talk to me but I must never bring up being gay.They have never met or even seen a guy I was dating.There is a place in Memphis that well Prays the Gay Away,which is Hell on earth I have heard terrible things.My brother and law dont want me around my newphews because gay people are child molesters,that hurts the worst I think.To me Christianity has tormented me and still does.They HATE me and always will and God does also they say.Jesus didnt hate people he loved the outcast's and he said over and over not to hate.He never said anything about being Gay,the New Testament doesnt really say anything about being Gay.I just hear Levticus all the time but if being gay is a sin then should'nt they still be stoning people if there daughter is not a virgin?.They were in the same chapter for the most part.How can they use that verse and not the others?Its the Old law and it died on the cross when Jesus did thats why its called the Old Testament.Travis you have a wonderful heart and that is rare,I pray Bryce is safe and finds you.I am a Amputee and I would give up my other leg the only one left to have a guy fight for me and love me like you do him and that is the truth.True love is rare and I hope you find your missing heart Travis. |
