| Message | I am sooooo sorry that you had to endure something like this!! I had a puppy that looked just like you, but she died last summer. When I saw this picture I was about to cry, and then when I read the story, I did cry!! May God bless you, and I will continue to Pray for you!!! |

| Message | this poor little animal - these men need to be given the maximum sentence, as animal cruelty and murder is just a short step away from child abuse and murder. i hope that puppy's life is respected and they are taught a lesson in right and wrong. |

| Message | My sympathy goes out to the Neilsen family for the loss of a very muched loved family member whose life was taken tragically by 2 adult men... These people deserve the most extreme penalty for what they have done.... Maybe the Neilsen family should be allowed to do what these deranged men have done to their family pet..... If they get a reduced sentence for pleading insanity then our legal system once again fails the innocent victims of this horrific crime... |

| Message | I just discovered this story on Facebook and I'm sitting here in tears. I did sign the petition with my own personal note. My heart is with you and your family. There aren't enough words to describe how I feel about this. Those men at minimum should be in jail for a sentence as long as Peanut would have lived out his normal life with additional years based on the act and an animal who is defenseless and the emotional pain it has caused. Additionally, they should never be permitted to own any animal or have any privileges when they get to prison. I wish you much success in getting a law passed. Somehow, Peanut knows he was loved, and we have to believe he is at the Rainbow Bridge!! My heart is with you. Jennifer |
