Stay strong, ask a ton of questions & think positive. You are young and this is a good thing. Thankfully you found this early and you can recover fully!

Sending you positive thoughts for fighting and healing!

MessageJudy-- I was stunned to hear of your diagnosis. If there is anything you would like me to share with you about this process, please let me know. I have had a lumpectomy, axillary lymph node dissection, will finish chemo on December 31st and will have radiation starting Feb. 09. My cancer however was triple negative (no receptors to the hormones or the HER2 protein) so my chemo is probably different than yours would be if you need it.

It sounds like you are doing everything you possibly can. Charlie and I are keeping you in our thoughts and sending love and positive energy out to you!

If it helps any, surgeons suck at bedside manner. Mine was "detached" as well. I think its a thing with them. Again, please give me a shout if there is anything I can share with you.

Best Wishes-
Lynda

MessageDear Judy,

I love you like a bean! (I don't know why a bean, but it's what I tell my kids, and they know it means a way way lot.)

You are in our thoughts and in our hearts. We know you're strong and you have lots of loving support, so you'll do great with your surgery and treatment.

Loved your photo shoot with Daphne!

Bon courage,

Robyn

Much love and I am so thankful to have you as a friend! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

MessageDear Judy,

Love from the LaSota family to you, Heather and your family.

2 concrete pieces of info: I have a friend (dancer) who had breast cancer about 5 years ago and liked her plastic surgeon. I don't know his name, but I'm sure she wouldn't mind giving it to you or any other advice she might have as someone who has gone through this.

There is a place in the city that gives free accupuncture--it is on Melrose just east of Broadway. You have long waits, but it is all free. I encourage you to have accupuncuture if you can fit it in with your other wonderful adjunct therapies (massage, yoga, etc). All of that will help you. Diet too!

One more concrete thing: if you and Heather ever need a babysitter for any reason, count me in. Experienced mom who loves kids of all ages. Heather has my #'s--. Just call.

We love you and send you waves of wellness, joy, and peace.

Kay, Craig and Sam

MessageHope our chat yesterday was helpful and I didn't just add fuel to the fire. You will get through this, and you will discover things about yourself that you never knew existed. From me to you, henceforth you will be a SURVIVOR. Hard tag to wear, but hey, it beats the alternative smilie

Call whenever.
