| Message | Jude, I just got off the phone with you a little bit ago and since then, have been in a fog. We hung-up and I just s t o o d t h e r e....rooted to the spot....trying to grasp it all...feeling it really start to sink in. It's unbelievable. But, here it is, and so, choices are being made, and coping has begun, and here we are. One thing I believe, is that you are never faced with anything in this life that you don't have the ability to handle. If it is happening to you, then you are ABLE to deal with it....even if you can't comprehend how. Just know that you absolutely CAN. I am so glad you have the blog, and are facing it head on, with your eyes wide open, and that you have your mom as your patient advocate and all your family and friends standing right by your side to support you. I am proud to be counted among them. I'm here for you, whatever you may need along your journey to recovery! But, don't think because I am being so serious right now, that I can't go right back to being a flippant jackass whenever you want. It's good to read about how you are, it sounds like in the big picture, the doctors have been very good and attentive, and communicating a lot of the positves, which is very good to hear. I have been thinking of you often and want to say how sorry I am that you have to be going through this experience and for any pain you may be feeling. I know this sounds hokey, but I just know in the core of my being, without a shred of doubt, that your recovery will be full and complete. I have 100% confidence in this feeling. I hope you gain comfort and strength knowing that all your friends and loved ones are here by your side, thinking good thoughts, sending good energy and amplifying your positive vibes to the universe. We are walking with you and will always be here. The love is widespread because you are a wonderful and giving human with one of the kindest souls around.
