| Message | I live in New York City, but my own parental heritage is half Bulgarian/Macedonian, half Slovak. But for whatever reason I have a very Hungarian name and have always had an affinity for Hungarian music along with the music of all the Balkans. I was recently in Budapest this summer and fell in love with your city and was thrilled to discover new Hungarian music that I loved while there. Your website has been a real treasure, allowing me to explore music, some of which I could never find over here. Thanks to your site I've been able to hear all the additional Palya Bea recordings that I was unable to buy while in Hungary. I've become a huge fan of hers and just bought a pair of third-row tickets to her Carnegie Hall concert here in New York on January 30, 2009. Thank you for all the time and effort you've put into uploading so much great music. I very much appreciate it, and wish you the best of luck in whatever you do! |
